THE PLEASURE OF GOD, OR THE PRAISE OF MAN?

Matthew 6:1-4

As Jesus transitions into a new section of the Sermon on the Mount, He moves beyond outward actions and addresses something deeper: our motives.

Pastor Jeremy reminds us that God is not only concerned with what we do, but why we do it. Religious activities like giving, praying, and serving are good, but they lose their purpose if they become opportunities to gain recognition from others.

This message challenges every believer to examine their heart and pursue one foundational motivation above all else: living to please God.
